Since opening its doors in August 2013, Berkeley Academy has relied on the same founders to lead the institution — guided by the values of honor, prestige, and excellence they set out from day one. Today, that leadership extends to an administrative team dedicated to carrying the mission forward in every classroom.
Our Founders
Peter J. Swing, Ed.M. and Yorlenny Aguilar co-founded Berkeley Academy in June 2013 after meeting at the U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica in 1999. Peter serves as President, Board Member (Vice Chair), and College Counselor; Yorlenny serves as Vice President and Board Member (Chair). Together, they continue to guide the school's mission, curriculum, and community more than a decade after opening its doors to 27 students.
