A selective admissions process, built on character

Every Berkeley Academy applicant is evaluated on academic capacity, conduct, and family fit — not just test scores. Our three-step process guides your family from application to decision, with most families hearing back within five business days of their Visitation Day.

Admissions

We evaluate the whole family.

Admission to Berkeley Academy is extremely selective, based on a prospective student's conduct, academic performance, specialized talent, and potential to contribute to our school community. We don't only evaluate exams and behavior — we consider whether a family will positively contribute to who we are.

Families are encouraged to apply during the Spring Term (March–May), prior to the Fall Term (August) or Spring Term (January) start.

We evaluate character as closely as we evaluate transcripts. Admission to Berkeley Academy is extremely selective — not because we want to exclude families, but because we believe a school community is only as strong as the people who make it up.
